Nice work 12t.... but you've got too many empty holes in that rack. It is so hard to get the correct balanced ratio of pipes to holes in the pipe rack.
2 empty shelves : 4 total shelves --- 1:2 ratio
Quickly.... It's time to go shopping for a few more pipes before the planet tilts on its axis and global __(insert your favorite disaster here)__ follows.

The wife granted me the privilege to use part of our book shelf to store my pipe rack and tobacco. I get distracted while watching television now...

I was just thinking the same thing (about me).

The rack turned out really nicely, 12t. I'm not sure how it is that I can be so good at fixing things around the house but I can't use some of the same tools to create something like this. :(

thanks again! it wasn't too bad. I only used one power tool (drill) to make the holes. The rest I did with a coping saw and sand paper.

Very nice work, 12toneman! I've got six pipes that I have stored upside down since October with no problems, though I am especially careful to clean these ones and allow them to dry properly before placing them back in the rack.

Well I wasn't going to post a picture of this makeshift pipe rack I stole from the wife's junk shack as my Radio/Smoking Shack is very messy!!! LOL ,Oh well here goes, this is about 2/3 rd of my pipes the rest are stored away in a box from when I changed Radio Sheds & I haven't had time to get them back out yet. There is a tobacco shelf above the Maco 750 Amplifier.
