...what helped to bring about that almost impious good-humor of his; that thing must have been his pipe.

I'm listening to my latest purchase: Blue Leaves, by Etherwood. His second album is as good as his first! :D

My signed copy of Futurist, by Keeno, has just arrived and is now spinning on my left deck. I'm in love with it! :D

Lately I've been going back to my teens and twenties, listening to Manic Street Preachers and revelling in it hugely.

I've always had a weakness for artists who are willing to move in political ways and hold on to some beliefs, both politically and artistically. To me, The Manics are one of the very few bands out there who never sold out. Re-discovering them recently, I realise that they also still know how to make one hell of an album.

And hell, how many 30 year old bands have a bass player who still wears mascara and glitter on his face in 2016?

OCD, by Royalston. An interesting and exciting album that shows what originality can achieve :)

Very enjoyable and unique singer - Gina Roode. As I'm not 'au fait' with anything contemporary, I've taken to this singer who was highlighted to me by a fellow UK pipe smoker. She has a great voice, writes lovely songs, plays a guitar wonderfully and is a pipe smoker to boot, with her videos unashamedly showing her puffing on her pipes. Quite delightful.

Can't Stop, Shan't Stop, by Mr. B the Gentleman Rhymer. The lovely Lady A purchased this album for me from last year's Asylum steampunk festival :)
