Classical theatre live

Postby Geo3rge » Fri Aug 29, 2014 11:10 am

Off again to the cinema soon to see Medea by Euripides. I've not seen or read it before, though it was on a university distance learning programme that I undertook some years back but had to curtail early owing to heavy workloads and deadlines. As with a previous post, this is live and has earned very good reviews. Coming from the National Theatre in London. Having been to three Shakespeare productions this year, all broadcast live in the comfort of a good cinema, this promises to be a stimulating and, again, thought-provoking event. I really look forward to it. And it is good to stretch the cultural brain cells a little, too!
