Hey Daniel, send me an email to remind me to commission a pipe from you early in the new year. I can make my own but like to get pipes from all over the world to add to my collection and also like your style.
Im thinking along the lines of something blasted or rusticated in a dark colour or maybe morta, vulcanite stem, short and stubby like a nose warmer, inverted calabash, short tennonless stem and something somewhat apple shaped. Perhaps a little stem accent too. Ill leave it to your imagination.
Cheers Rolf

Nice article Daniel. Good to find out a bit more about yourself and your craft.

Its good to know that so much of your work is done by hand, proper craftsman that is!

thank you Wez... thank is why i posted the link - if someone would like to know more about me... :)
glad you like it...
be happy....

today i just saw a movie that i saw many times and ones more it reminded me on several thing (some of you might know the movie) and the quote goes like this:

"The perfect blossom is a rare thing, you can spend your life looking for one, and it would not be a wasted life.

And then I come to this place Of my ancestors, and I remember, like these blossoms , we are all dying.

To know life in every breath, every cup of tea , every life we take, the way of the warrior, life in every breath...."

so well written, so nice... so concentrated in few words... everything said.... it would really be something to be able to create something from anything that can achieve that amount of perfection... that amount of power within... i am small in compare to this perfection... but i feel the need to create, to try to achieve just that... i would probably never be able to do that and probably everything will end up with the quote R.Barbi ones said (can't quote it) that he will know he is dead ones he makes a perfect pipe... a great master indeed....
guys - be happy.. feel the life in every and each smoke you take... or each breath... what can i say more...
be happy...
regards, over and out for now...

Since I had the special treat of being able to follow the making of The Ghost Poker through its making not to long ago, I can honestly say that the article really touches on who you are as a pipe carver.

Not only that, but by watching the process and reading your thoughts along its creation also helped me see and feel those same thoughts in the Olivewood that I bought from you.

Keep up the good work my friend and thank you again for the pipe I own :)
