May I make a suggestion, dude? Why not just add posts to the same thread, instead of making a new thread every time you make a new pipe? :)

If ya ax me, each of Brian's pipes deserves its own thread.

Looks like you've acquired a fine pipe, Hermit. That's a beautiful blast. Terrific rings on the bowl. Let us know how it smokes. Not that I expect it to be anything but fantastic.

And the rest of you - Keep buyin' 'em! I'm living vicariously through you guys this year. Don't let me down!

Really nice pipe, nice catch hermit.

I find myself more and more tempted for a higher end pipe, sometime soon...

I have seen that done, but myself, I dont like it because when the thread gets very long and large with many pages, I dont bother to go through all the pages. Which I see some others may do the same, so I have, for the past 10 years, always just made a new thread so it is seen by everyone. Thanks for the suggestion thoughI do appreciate it! :D

That makes sense.
Also, when the thread appears, you wouldn't know if
somebody was just gonna say "Nice pipe Hermit,"
or if it was a new pipe that you oughtta buy before I do.
