Reintroduction - taharris

Postby taharris » Sat Jan 07, 2017 3:14 pm

Hi all.

I have been. Member for a long time, but haven't posted in a while so I thought I would reintroduce myself.

I am an engineer living in central Ohio, have three kids two of which are Eagle Scouts and in College.

I love Virginias, VaPers, and Dark fired Kentuckys. My favorite pipes are my beat up shop pipes and my birth year Dunhill.

In my spare time (and for my mental health) I make pipes.

I'm sorry I have been absent for so long. I will try to do better.

Here are some pipes that I have recently made (all have happy homes).

I am looking forward to rejoining your community.

Todd

A very warm welcome back, Todd. Good to read your post.
The pipes look fantastic. Excellent craft skills.
Re only partial photo appearance, are you able to adjust resolution or image size when you upload an image? I've not been able to post pictures for a while owing to a temperamental computer, but when it's worked I've been able to choose image size to fit.
Once again, great pipes. They look quite wonderful.
Enjoy your pipes and tobaccos...

Hi Todd,

Welcome back, although I'm not sure I was here when you were here first time around.

I had a look around your site and I have to say you make some beautiful pipes. When funds permit (which may not be for a while though), I think I'll be putting some into getting one of yours.

Hi Bob. I live in Ashland (half way between Columbus and Cleveland), but I have two sons at Wright State University.

Do you ever hang out at the Warf? You might run into one of my sons there some day.

Hello Mr. Harris.

I have a morta churchwarden with a 10 inch bamboo stem sitting in my rack that I enjoy while watching football. Wonderful pipe, Thank you. :D
