My deepest condolences.
...what helped to bring about that almost impious good-humor of his; that thing must have been his pipe.

It has been a year since my mother passed from Alzheimers. I make a contribution at Christmas time to the Alzheimers Association. I hope they can eventually defeat the disease.

Somehow I missed this thread - and can only say it was a magnificent thing to do - well done Alan!

Also very sad to hear of anyone's losses.

How is the pipe smoking?

Hello, Alan. Good to hear from you again. Keeping well? Pipe smoking, for me at least, going fine.

NoBail - still think of my parents. Lots of little things in a day bring back memories and reminders. Good wishes to you at this time.

Alan, the pipe smoked very well. It is in storage with most of the others. We moved into a new house and I've not gotten everything in the house, using a storage unit. I did manage to get my tobacco out of storage.
