So what happened to TOTM?

Each month we'll have some focused reviews on a particular blend.

So what happened to TOTM?

I thought it was a good idea.

It certainly lost steam at the end there. I enjoyed reading people impressions so I would like to see it come back as well. Perhaps to build momentum the next TOTM is something that everyone has in their cellar so we have high participation.

Good idea. I too think it's a shame - keep checking back to see if anything new has appeared :(

I am glad to see there is some interest forming again. I was running the event for over a year, but towards the end interest really fell off. As this occurred it only made sense to discontinue the activity

Well, I can't speak for anyone else, but I would be interested. Looks like a great excuse to buy more tobacco. :D

I was just starting to get into it before the end. For me it was a great excuse to try new tobaccos and often times stuff I wouldn't normally try. That's how I discovered GLP's Sextant. When I'm in the mood, that really hits the spot. I wouldn't have discovered it otherwise. I'm game for anything really. I'm just not that good at writing reviews but I did my best with it.

Ran across an interesting article by GLP on writing tobacco reviews => http://luxurytobaccoreviews.com/reviews-without-tears.php

Not sure I'd put that much effort into it, but maybe.

That's pretty good for ideas at least depending on how in depth you want to go. Thanks for that link. I have it bookmarked. That will definately help with a kind of outline in my head before I write.

Being that it is Winter for most of us, perhaps an English/Latakia blend that everyone can get their hands on? Ashton Artisans Blend?

May be winter for you, but it looks like we are going to skip it again this year. :)

Anyway, I've never tried Artisan's Blend and am up for it if that's what interests some other people as well.
