Where to buy

Where to buy

Postby clueless » Sat Nov 21, 2009 2:31 am

I bought a couple of cobs from an online shop a few months ago that were a cut above the ones I can get in my local B&M. I recently cracked the stem on one and would like to get a couple more. I think they are MM's but not sure. What I most liked about them is that the stem did not protrude into the bowl. they were also a little larger and one of them had a nice exterior finish that almost looked like a briar. Does anyone have any suggestions where I might find these? I have forgotten where I bought them

I am not sure exactly what cobs you are talking about, but really just go to in online shop and look at their MM selection and them read the primer on this site and you cant go wrong

Hi cluless try this site http://www.corncobpipe.com/ & also this site http://www.walkerbriarworks.com/html/_f ... stems.html

The first site is the real MM cob pipe factory, & probably the cheapest, but the second site has extremely nice replacement stems for mm cobs.

Edit: Actually the prices aren't bad at either site.

On Ebay seller "Aristocob" sells replacement MM stems. Also, Mars Cigars sells replacement MM cob stems for I believe 50 cents each. Buy a some spares, that's what a lot of cob smokers do.
