a little maintenance on the Dunhill

Postby iamandrewx » Tue Jan 05, 2016 1:06 pm

So I left my Dunhill outside, in the dew-soaked grass over night a few months ago and was finally able to hook up with my neighbor and he showed me a few pointers on restoring the stem, close to its original glory. I don't have many good images right now, but I will amend the post later with some better shots. I only have the one "BEFORE" image, though.

I plan to purchase my own buffing wheel and compounds soon. Hopefully I can start doing some LIGHT restorations for anyone that needs it and doesn't have the money to buy their own setup as a way to give back to the community!

Cheers!

I just copied what appeared in your post. I'm not sure why it didn't work for you :?
