Mac Baren Packaging

Postby Dodger » Wed Nov 22, 2017 6:06 pm

When i bought my 2017 Xmas 999 ,I also bought some Mac Baren Flake and to my surprise it now comes in a foil sealed plastic tray in a plastic pouch .
If you want to cellar it a supply of rubber sealed jars will be needed .

I would not break the seal. It should age just fine in the Mylar bag. :ugeek:

I doubt that ,it seems the same type of packaging as used by St Bruno ,Players Navy Flake and Condor etc ,these had a fairly short shelf life ,The only tobacco that aged well in the pouch from my experience is Amphora and Half and Half which gad a layer of foil between the plastic .
