That's come up very well indeed. What a transformation. I do like the shape of that pipe and it looks similar to an Alexander Zavvos that I have. Simple pipe shape and plain surface finish, but a great smoker. Could the one here be described as an 'author' shape? Whatever it is, enjoy it. Looks great.

@Geo3rge Hi bud, Yes it is a Author shape , slightly different than your average Author but Author all the same , G'Day

Here is a picture of a Dr. Grabow Author just to compare shape.

And then there is the Author I had Gary at Marvic Pipes hand carve for me.

And then there would be the Savinelli 320 which is a bit different also but a Author as well , I don't have a picture of one handy.

Some great pipes there. Particularly like the Marvin. Good stuff, T. I notice you are a snuff lover too. I've tried it a few times and every now and then I'll have a pinch, though it's far from being a regular thing.
I have a couple of the Savinelli 320s. Great pipes. A lot more chunky than a normal 'author' but good to smoke (though clenching these beasts is difficult owing to their sheer weight!) and a delight to feel in the hand.
Enjoy your pipes today.
